i came from a town that had angle parking then changed it to parrilell parking on main street.but did not take long to find out that it had to be changed back to angel parking due to not enough room for parking.people had to park up to two blocks away to go shopping.unhappy folks.

I come from a small town that had angle parking too. The best thing they did was get rid of it because most people would back up without looking and there were lot's of fender benders because of carelessness

50th Street
The roundabout that is in the plans is going to cause major troubles in the dead of winter.I suggest dropping that idea and sinking some money into a good sanding truck. The roads here are glare ice between Dec. and Feb. Making stopping at the stop signs near impossible. No sanding them icy winter roads are going to cause major auto damage if thet can't stop and hit a curb in the middle of the street.Just a thought?

Anyone that has difficulty navigating an engineered street should consider re-taking some driving lessons.

Way back when, angle parking seemed a good idea but, we didn't drive the type of vehicles that we do today. Regular box extended cabs (of which there are many) cannot be accommodated in such a space nor can motor homes and similar types of vehicles. This of course will always be unacceptable to those who refuse to walk a half a block to do their business. To those who cannot back out of a stall without hitting a vehicle which incidentally, has the right of way, maybe you shouldn' t be driving. And to those drivers who seem unable to recognize a driving hazard like slippery road surfaces and adapt their driving accordingly, stay home! These issues are nothing more than sour grapes from people who expect the world to stand still for them and the way they always used to do things.

"Hi there Mundare Folks; I had occasion to drive thru your wonderful town on Sunday, Aug. 22/2010 and was totally impressed by the awesome image that you've created. I went to school there from 1962-1969 and am most proud of how well Mundare is doing and by how nice and clean, neat, professional and thriving the town looks, both in the main street commercial area, as well as in the residentials.plat
Great job !!!!!!!!"
