Welcome to Mundare

If you are a new homeowner in the Town of Mundare, WELCOME!!

Please contact the town office to have your water/sewer and garbage services registered under your name.  Each homeowner is billed monthly.  If you are renting, the utilities (water/sewer/garbage) will still go to the owner but you may come to check the balance, have a recopy of the property bill, and pay the account at the office any time during business hours. Recycling and garbage pick up is Tuesday morning ( please have out front by 7am), and make sure to leave a meter of space around your garbage can.

Please visit the "Utility" section for any questions you may have about water/sewer or garbage/recycle pickup. If you purchased property, check out the Taxation section for information about taxes and what the Town has to offer for your annual tax bill. Tax assessments are completed in June, and current-year taxes are due July 31. Penalties are applied on August 1 and December 31.

Paying Your Bills

You can settle your utility bills (water & sewer), taxes, or Accounts Receivable invoices at the town office during regular business hours. Payments can be made using cash, cheque, or debit. We now accept e-transfers and credit cards (note that a 5% service fee applies for credit card transactions). Additionally, you can pay online through most banks via online banking.

To do this, simply look for "Town of Mundare" under the payee list, select "Utilities", "Taxes", or " Accounts Payable", and enter your account number as it appears on your bill. (one note: tax account number is your roll number and A/R is your customer number)  If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to give us a call; we're more than happy to assist you!

We are excited to introduce PAP (Pre-Authorized Payment), a convenient service that allows automatic deductions of your utility bills from your account on the due date, the 29th of each month. If preferred, we also offer e-bills. Additionally, taxes can be paid through a monthly payment plan, provided your account remains in good standing.

To take advantage of this service, please visit our office to complete the necessary forms. If you're unable to come during our office hours, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at reception@mundare.ca for assistance. We also encourage you to keep us updated with any changes to your address, phone number, or email.
